Christina B. Perkins, Esq.

Christina Perkins is a graduate of Freeport High School, a graduate of the University of Southern Maine where she graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in Philosophy, and a 2004 graduate of the University of Maine School of Law. Christina practiced law in Kennebec County until 2007 when she moved to Orland and began practicing in Bucksport. In May 2015, Christina moved her practice to Ellsworth and now runs Christina Perkins Law Offices on Church Street.

At her new law office, Christina continues to practice in areas of real estate, family law and divorce, elder law, probate including guardianship and conservatorship, estate planning including Wills, Powers of Attorney and Advance Health Care Directives as well as MaineCare (Medicaid) planning, animal law, non profit matters and corporation and LLC matters. She has extensive experience in those areas. In addition, she collaborates with other professionals such as accountants, tax professionals, and certified financial planners to achieve the goals of the clients when possible.

Christina is a member of the Maine State Bar Association and the Hancock County Bar Association where she serves as treasurer. Christina is a proud member of the Healthy Acadia Board of Directors and recently joined the Healthy Aging Task Force. As a former board member of the Lawyer Referral Service, the Bucksport Area Chamber of Commerce, Maine Animal Coalition, Maine Friends of Animals, and as a member of the Maine Animal Welfare Advisory Council, she has served a broad spectrum of community interests.

In 2012, Christina founded Maine Farm Animal Advocates and continues to serve as its President. Christina lives in Orland and enjoys hiking the local trails with her dogs, biking trails and roads far and near, and working on her farm where she has a number of rescued farm animals.
